Terms of Service

VersionPress.com is a modern WordPress hosting platform. You are agreeing to these Terms of Service when signing up for an account.

Note that VersionPress.com and open-source VersionPress (referred to without the ".com" suffix) are two separate projects. These terms govern only the VersionPress.com hosted service, not the open-source project.

The agreement is between you and VersionPress s.r.o., a company organized and existing under the laws of the Czech Republic, EU, ID No.: 04156528, registered with the Commercial Register maintained by the District Court in Hradec Kralove, file no. 35904 C.

Service details

VersionPress.com is a hosting service with a focus on workflows. It utilizes Google Cloud infrastructure and you give us permission to host your sites on this trusted third party provider.

Where appropriate, we also use other third-party service providers, for example, for transactional emails, off-site backups, payment processing, etc. You give us permission to use such providers.

Requirements on hosted sites

Sites hosted on VersionPress.com must meet the following requirements:

Maximum of 50,000 database rows.
Maximum of 5 GB total file size.
No multisite / network installations.
No violent, threatening or sexual content or activity.

We reserve the right to review each site hosted on VersionPress.com and refuse service for any reason.

Payments

Payments are processed by Braintree, subscriptions are managed by Chargebee. You give us permission to use these providers and possibly others where relevant, e.g., PayPal. Please note that we do not keep any records of your credit card details at any point.

Warranty

VersionPress.com warrants that services under this agreement will be performed in a professional, workmanlike manner.

Except for the limited warranty above, VersionPress.com makes no warranties hereunder and disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

We shall have no liability for unauthorized access to, or alteration, theft or destruction of, the website or clients data files, programs or information through accident, fraudulent means or devices. We shall have no liability with respect to our obligations under this agreement or otherwise for consequential, exemplary, special, incidental, or punitive damages even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In any event, the liability of host to client for any reason and upon any cause of action shall be limited to the amount actually paid to host by client under this agreement during the three (3) months immediately preceding the date on which such claim accrued. This limitation applies to all causes of action in the aggregate, including, without limitation, to breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence, strict liability, misrepresentations, and other torts.
